I can see lots of ads showing nudity and sexually-suggestive poses on bus stop or subway station in these days. Some people worry about this, because it may soon look like the ones in western countries. However, it is not surprised that changing and being similar according to become global world. At the first time I saw these sexy ads in public place, I was embarrassed and shy; but I became to be used to seeing them soon.
Companies need to publicate their goods very well in short time. It results in appearing this stimulating advertisements chosen by companies. I think that it is inevitable and necessary, because people also enjoy to see their creative ads. Also, companies can express themselves in the way whatever they want. However I agree it needs some regulation, it should not be a pornography for children.

hmm...I didn't care about provocated ads. before.
However about 3weeks ago in Myeong-dong subway station there were fuuuuuull of H&M's bikini advertisements!!!! ALL of the screen doors were covered with bikini women! :-)!!! I thougnt 'OMG, What can I see~;0 kk Because of the experience, I think it needs some regulations....
We shouldn't set ad makers too free. We are still a conservative country so we need to step along our nationism(sorry, I made this word to explain the band of korea. ) when in Rome do as Romans do, we can think about this phrase. Also, I totally agree with it. For example, there was some news about the Muslim women who hide their faces with black scarves. They live in Paris, but the women still hide their faces just because of their religion. However, France prohibited hiding faces to identify who each is. And prevent the chance of terror. Despite its policy, they don't follow the rules and they even protest! Oh, I don't know how I am here, what I want to say is we need to fit our conception of the nudity in ads. Thank you.
I agree with what you're saying, Seong-Bin, but sometimes I worry that we use "globalization" as an excuse for western dominance. Countries should not give up their own cultural values just to fit in with "the big boys" if you know what I mean. Whidly made a great point with her comment above, and I agree with her.
I agree with Erica's comment.
Globalization doesn't mean that we should give up our culture. We can be globalization with keeping our cultures!
In other part of your opinion is quite logical and good!
I maybe agree on the idea that the ads doen'st have to be like westerns. but in order it to be possible, i think we should change our kind of prejudice that things from western are generally acceptable and preferable.
Yes many advocative advs give me some embarassment
and those are more severe in with lover, family
